RM 1108 is a short ranch to market road entirely in Culberson County in West Texas.
Route description
The southern terminus of RM 1108 is at a pipe line boosting station in unincorporated Culberson County. The route travels east and then north before ending at RM 652.[1][2]
History
FM 1108 was established in 1948 as a 21.2-mile road from US 62 at the Texas/New Mexico state line south to "the pipeline booster stations."[1] In 1949, the southern 10.7 miles of FM 1108 was reassigned as FM 1165 and the southern terminus was moved to 4.6 miles west of the new junction with FM 1165. In 1959, FM 1108 was re-designated RM 1108. In 1975, the northern 5.2 miles of the highway was reassigned to RM 652, and the highway reached its current routing.[1]
